Jason opened the spa in 1996 after more than a decade grooming dogs across Los Angeles. He wanted to create a calm, personal grooming space in Marina del Rey, one dog at a time, one gentle table, and every finish done by hand. No kennels, no production line, no rushed cuts.
Today, the spa still keeps that same small-team standard. Jesus joined the table as a professional groomer, Ricky came on as our dedicated bather, and Julia is training with us through our apprentice program, helping shape the next generation of careful groomers. Together, our team brings over forty-two years of hands-on grooming experience.

Things you might be wondering.
Do I need to book ahead?
Yes, we’re a small spa and one-on-one, so we book out 1–2 weeks in advance. Same-week slots come up; call or message us if you’re flexible.
How long does a full groom take?
Usually 90–120 minutes. We don’t stack appointments, so your pup isn’t sitting in a kennel, they’re home with you the moment we’re done.
What if my dog is nervous or has never been groomed?
Tell us when you book. Our team has experience with nervous and senior dogs, and we often split the first visit into two shorter sessions to help build trust.
Do you handle matted coats?
We do, but humanely. If a coat is severely matted we’ll shave rather than brush, pulling through mats is painful. We’ll always talk you through options first.
Do you groom all dog breeds?
Yes. We groom dogs of all breeds, sizes, and coat types. From small pups to doodles, Aussies, poodles, and larger breeds, each dog is handled with calm, one-on-one care based on their coat, comfort, and grooming needs.
